Stop the Terrorist War Immediately!

We Strongly Condemn the State of Israel’s War Crime  Against the Civilians in Qana

Under the Silence of the international community and the obstruction of the US government to reach a seize fire, the military forces of the state of Israel has committed the most horrific and brutal mass murder against the Lebanese civilians in this conflict so far. The Israeli war planes, in a barbaric air raid, have killed today Sunday the 30^th of July 2006, around 60 civilians 30 of whom are children, while asleep in their home in the town of Qana causing the destruction of a whole residential building and horrific human causalities. The Israeli army claimed rockets of Hezbullah were launched from that location!.

During the last 19 days of mutual bombings to civilian locations, the two sides of terrorism in this war are continuing to commit more crimes against defenseless civilians around the two sides of the borders, claiming they try to stop the other side. During the last few weeks, hundreds of civilians in Lebanon have been killed and thousands were injured and the whole infra-structure of Lebanon was completely destroyed in a barbaric attack. The two sides in this war; the state of Israel with its infamous army which had committed brutal crimes against civilians, and the militias of Political Islam with its reactionary and merciless ideology are both murdering innocent civilians. This war does not only lead to mass murder and destruction of civilians lives and livelihoods in the region, but also to increase the influence of the terrorists forces in both countries; the fascist Right in Israel from one side and Political Islam in the whole region. Each side of this conflict is feeding the other.

The unlimited support of the USA government to the state of Israel and its attacks and mass murder of the civilians in Lebanon has opened the way for the latter to commit more war crimes and destruction in Lebanon. We hold the US government accountable and consider it as accomplice to the state of Israel in the killing of the innocent civilians in Lebanon. On the other hand, the killing of the civilians in Qana will give the governments of Political Islam in the region, i.e. the Islamic Republic of Iran and Hamas, the opportunity to pour more oil on the fires and to frantically attempt to increase the war zone in the region by threatening to commit more crimes against the people.

While our party strongly condemns this horrible war crime against the people we repeat our position of an immediate stop of this war.

We call upon the people of Lebanon and Israel to condemn this terrorist war and to abstain from following any of the terrorists’ sides. We call upon them to reinforce their own camp, the camp of people which opposes the two terrorisms; the terrorism of the state of Israel and the terrorism of Political Islam. We call upon them to join the Third Camp which is the only alternative that can present the peoples’ answer to these inhuman forces and paralyze them from inflicting more destruction and death.
